🍕 Greek Pizza Recipe
Ingredients (Serves 2–3)
For the Dough (or use store-bought):
- 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup (180ml) warm water
- 1 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
For the Toppings:
- ½ cup pizza or marinara sauce (or olive oil + garlic as base)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup crumbled feta cheese
- ½ red onion, thinly sliced
- ½ cup kalamata olives, pitted and sliced
- ½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- Fresh spinach or arugula (optional)
- Olive oil for drizzling
Instructions
1. Make the Dough (if homemade):
- In a small bowl, dissolve sugar and yeast in warm water. Let sit for 5–10 mins until foamy.
- In a large bowl, mix flour and salt.
- Add yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix and knead until smooth (about 8 minutes).
- Cover and let rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
2. Preheat Oven:
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C). Place a pizza stone or baking tray inside to heat.
3. Shape the Pizza:
- Roll or stretch the dough into a 10–12 inch circle.
- Place on parchment paper or a floured surface.
4. Assemble the Pizza:
- Spread sauce or olive oil with minced garlic over the dough.
- Sprinkle mozzarella, then add red onion, tomatoes, olives, and feta.
- Sprinkle dried oregano and drizzle lightly with olive oil.
5. Bake:
- Transfer to the hot oven (stone or tray) and bake for 10–12 minutes, until the crust is golden and crisp.
6. Serve:
- Optional: top with fresh spinach or arugula right after baking.
- Slice and enjoy warm with a side of tzatziki if desired!

- For extra flavor, use a garlic olive oil base instead of tomato sauce.
- Add marinated artichokes or roasted red peppers for variation.
