🍚 Classic Fried Rice Recipe
Ingredients (Serves 3–4)

3 cups cooked rice (preferably cold, day-old rice works best)

2 tbsp vegetable oil (or sesame oil for extra flavor)

2 eggs, lightly beaten

1 small onion, finely chopped

2–3 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn, bell peppers)

2–3 green onions, chopped
-
2–3 tbsp soy sauce (adjust to taste)

1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional, for depth of flavor)

½ tsp ground black pepper

Salt to taste
Optional Add-ins:

Cooked chicken, shrimp, pork, or tofu

Chili flakes or sriracha for heat
Instructions

Prep Your Ingredients:

Make sure your rice is cold and not clumpy.

Have all veggies chopped and ready.

Cook the Eggs:

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.

Scramble the beaten eggs until just set. Remove and set aside.

Sauté the Aromatics:

Add the remaining oil to the pan.

Sauté chopped onions for 1–2 minutes, then add garlic and cook until fragrant.

Add the mixed vegetables.

Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until tender-crisp.

Break up the rice and add it to the pan.

Stir-fry everything together, pressing rice into the pan to crisp slightly.
