🍔 Classic Hamburger Recipe
Ingredients (Makes 4 burgers)
For the Patties:

1 lb (450g) ground beef (80/20 for juiciness)

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp garlic powder (optional)

½ tsp onion powder (optional)
For Assembling:

4 hamburger buns

Slices of cheddar cheese (optional)

Lettuce leaves
-
Tomato slices
-
Onion slices (raw or grilled)

Pickles

Ketchup, mustard, mayo, or your favorite sauces
Instructions

Prepare the Patties:

In a bowl, gently mix the ground beef with salt, pepper, and optional spices. Don’t overwork the meat.

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into patties about ¾-inch thick. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to help them cook evenly.

Cook the Patties:

Grill Method: Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill patties for 3–4 minutes per side for medium doneness. Add cheese in the last minute if using.

Stovetop Method: Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook patties 3–4 minutes per side until cooked to desired doneness.

Toast the Buns:

Lightly toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a skillet until golden brown.

Assemble the Burgers:

Spread sauces on the buns.

Add lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles to the bottom bun.

Place the hot patty on top (with melted cheese if using).

Top with the other half of the bun.
